This fascinating video shows, in just two highly compressed minutes, the process of making the book cover for Blameless, by Gail Carriger:
Though it tells us nothing about how to get published, I find this type of thing not only interesting, but motivating. Why? Well, like many people scratching around trying to write a novel, I tend to visualise the end goal in a physical sense: the touch and feel of the printed book, thhe smell of the pages, and the look of the cover. So watch this clip, and dream like me about a graphic designer creating the cover of your first published novel. Then get back to writing it!
PS: Thanks to Nathan Bransford, for pointing out this video on his blog in this post.
